Budget 2012
The Budgets Committee holds its main vote on the EU's budget for next year. It will also vote on proposed further cuts to the EP budget for next year (Tuesday-Thursday).

The Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee will discuss the sovereign debt markets and the situation in the Eurozone with the ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet. It will be his last appearance at the committee before leaving the ECB (Tuesday).

Environment Committee MEPs will vote on improving rules to collect and recycle more of the EU's growing stream of electrical and electronic waste (Tuesday).

Killing pests, protecting health
The Environment Committee will vote on modernising EU rules on pest control products to better protect public health and the environment, while cutting red tape for businesses (Tuesday).

Home-made explosives
Civil Liberties Committee MEPs will vote on legislation on the marketing of chemicals that can be used in home-made bombs, with a view to restricting public access to these chemicals (Tuesday).
Major-accident hazards
Environment Committee MEPs will vote on rules on safety plans for around 10,000 industrial installations that manage hazardous waste and substances (Tuesday).
Future regional policy
The Regional Development Committee will begin its discussion of a package of legislation on EU regional and structural policy after 2013 (Thursday).
Election observation
President Buzek and Catherine Ashton host a high level meeting with speakers including Jimmy Carter, to discuss the role of international election observers two weeks before a delegation of MEPs travels to Tunisia to observe the first of the Arab Spring elections (Tuesday).
