Online child abuse
The Civil Liberties Committee is set to vote on an agreement reached with Member States' representatives on an EU law aimed at protecting children from abuse, including provisions to deal with online images of child abuse (Tuesday).

A delegation from the Civil Liberties Committee will be in Tunisia for discussions with the Prime Minister, government members and NGOs on issues concerning both refugees and other migrants (Wednesday-Friday).

The Foreign Affairs Committee will discuss the protests and crackdown in Syria with representatives of the Syrian opposition (Tuesday).

Polish Council Presidency
Members of the Polish government will be taking part in most of the EP committee meetings this week, to discuss the priorities for the Polish presidency of the Council during the rest of 2011 (Monday-Thursday).
Waldemar Pawlak, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, will hold a press conference at 13h on Tuesday (Salle Anna Politkovskaya).

Jerzy Buzek will be in Dublin for an official visit to Ireland, including meetings with President Mary McAleese, Taoiseach Enda Kenny and parliamentary leaders (Monday-Tuesday).
