Nuclear safety/Japan disaster
Parliament will debate the implications of the Fukushima disaster for nuclear safety in Europe with the Commission and Council (Wednesday, vote on resolution Thursday), while the wider issues raised by the tragedy in Japan is the subject of the second part of the Question Time with Commission President José Manuel Barroso (Tuesday).

Migration flows and Lampedusa
The EU's response to increased numbers of migrants and asylum seekers leaving North Africa and the Middle East, and in particular the impact on Lampedusa, will be debated with the Commission, along with a parliamentary resolution on how the issue should be addressed in EU foreign policy towards the countries involved (Monday).

Bill Gates on development issues
