Az Európai Parlament elnöke, Jerzy Buzek 2010. szeptember 17-én látogatást tesz Budapesten, azzal a céllal, hogy tájékozódjon az elkövetkező magyar EU-elnökség (2010. január-június) prioritásairól. Jerzy Buzek 15.00 órakor a Parlamentben találkozik Orbán Viktor miniszterelnökkel.
Az Európai Parlament elnöke beszédet mond a European Ideas Network (EIN) Nyári Egyetemén, majd 19.00 órakor látogatást tesz az Európai Roma Jogok Központjában, hogy tájékozódjon a romák európai helyzetéről.

President Buzek to visit Budapest on Friday, 17 September 2010
The President of the European Parliament, Jerzy Buzek, is travelling to Budapest on 17 September 2010 in order to analyse the priorities of the upcoming Hungarian EU Presidency (January-June 2010). President Buzek will meet Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, at 15:00, in the Hungarian Parliament.
President Buzek will deliver a speech at the European Ideas Network Summer University. At 19:00 President Jerzy Buzek will visit the European Roma Rights Centre in Budapest in order to be briefed on the situation of Roma people in Europe.
